Amaoti LevelUp Wifi Project

Amaoti Durban KwaZulu Natal. The aim of this project is to connect 2000 homes with affordable unlimited internet accesss. Amaoti, which is located within Inanda, and is one of the largest informal settlements in eThekwini. There are approximately 20,000 households residing in informal structures. Seventy percent of Durban’s street children originate from this area. The area is also characterised by low economic activity, inadequate infrastructure, and high levels of unemployment, HIV/Aids, poverty and crime.

The aim of this project is to connect 2000 homes with affordable unlimited internet accesss. The community is seeking donors to sponsor home equipment to access the Internet Network.

Zwelisha LevelUp Wifi Project

Zwelisha KwaZulu Natal. Zwelisha, is settlement comprising of RDP houses and informal housing. Zwelisha meaning ‘new land’ in isiZulu, date back to the 1980’s, however it still lacks proper infrastructure. The community still suffers from lack of access to educational resources, as well high unemployment rates, poverty and crime. These issues are exacerbated by a lack of job opportunities, relevant skills, and high school dropout rate Unemployment has led to a lack of income, making it difficult to afford basic needs like food, and housing.

The aim of this project is to connect 1000 homes with affordable unlimited internet accesss. The community is seeking donors to sponsor home equipment to access the Internet Network.

Mzinyati LevelUp Wifi Project

Mzinyati Inanda, KwaZulu Natal. Mzinyati Inanda, a township near Durban, South Africa, faces significant poverty challenges, including high unemployment, low education levels, and inadequate access to basic services. These factors contribute to a cycle of poverty, with many residents living below the poverty line. Mzinyati's development was largely unplanned, leading to a lack of infrastructure and service

The aim of this project is to connect 400 homes with affordable unlimited internet accesss. The community is seeking donors to sponsor home equipment to access the Internet Network.

Ottawa Primary School Wifi Access

The project aims to implement free WiFi into Ottawa Primary School. This will allow learners to have direct access to educational resources such as Microsoft Education program. The intended beneficiaries fall have been excluded from internet access and the benefits of connectivity. Provisioning free, uncapped internet access to underserved South African educators and learners will ensure they are able to be included in the digital world. Ottawa Primary is a ZERO fees School, as many of the parents are unable to pay any fees.

The school seeks assistence for the provision of equipment for a computer lab and Wifi equipment for the School Building.
